The Thames Business Association Annual General Meeting is coming up, and we’d love to see as many members there as possible.

Our AGM is your opportunity to hear what has been happening over the past year, receive the Association’s Annual Report and Financial Statements, elect the Committee, and help shape our priorities for the year ahead.

This year has been one of significant progress. We’ve strengthened member engagement, launched new initiatives, and continued advocating for our local business community. But there is still so much more we could achieve together.

At present, the Association has just six volunteer committee members, despite having nine committee positions available. Those six volunteers contribute an enormous amount of time and energy, but with more people around the table we could broaden our skills, share the workload, and deliver even more initiatives that benefit our members and the wider Thames business community.

You don’t need previous governance experience to get involved—just an interest in seeing Thames thrive and a willingness to contribute your ideas and expertise. Whether you have time to help lead projects, support events, or simply bring a fresh perspective, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’ve ever thought, “Someone should do something about that,” this is your opportunity to help make it happen.

We also understand that not everyone can attend in person. If attending is difficult, please let us know. If there is sufficient interest, we’ll make an online attendance option available so members can still be part of the discussion.
